Bahia de Kino (Kino Bay) is located at the center of
the Sonoran coastline, overlooking the Sea of Cortez
and the Tiburon (Shark) Island, the largest of Mexico.

This has been a traditional resort area for U.S. citizens
during the winter season, particularly those driving
from the southwest region. This quiet location
combines a beautiful integration of desert and sea,
together with good fishing almost year round.

Kino Bay also features a small "Seri Indian Tribe"
museum.
Kino Bay boasts 11 kilometers of beachfront with good
access to tourist services as it is Hermosillo's natural
beach.

GETTING THERE
Traveling from Phoenix thru Tucson to the border at
Nogales is quick.  The scenic trip from the border at
Nogales to the town of Santa Ana goes thru valleys
and some moderate hills, and passes one toll booth.
Several small towns with topes are present. The road
is 4 lane some divided and some not.

After Santa Ana the road is flat straight and divided 4
lane.

The sign for the right turnoff to Kino Bay just after the
second  toll booth is the Mira Pilares Mine road. After
10-15 miles you turn left off the "mine road" you will
come to a traffic lite. Major intersection with a large
Soriana supermarket on your left. At this intersection
you turn right and follow the road till it dead ends at a
scrap yard. Turn left and follow the road till it dead
ends. This is the airport/Kino road. Turn right and
keep on trucking. This route avoids going thru the city

The road from Hermosillo to Kino is six lanes divided
to the airport and then 4 lanes and some uneveness
after .

At Km 30 you will have the new 3 lane which to us
looks like narrow 4 lane road this will continue to Km
40. The road is being widened and improved. It will
eventually be three lane toMiguel Aleman.

After this the road is two lane. Good but some
uneveness. Travel in an RV at 55 mph would not be a
problem 65 in my truck
After Miguel Aleman  you will find the road somewhat
rougher in areas but still not potholed and I would
travel at 60 mph in the truck and probably 50 mph in
an RV with no problem.

This is a Straight-Sale Auction.  We are not able to
offer terms on these properties.  It must be a full cash
payment.  Also, we do not use First American Title
because in Mexico beach areas you get your title
protection through the bank trust rather than title
insurance.
